About the job opening
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed comparative research on evolving global digital asset regulations (e.g., MAS Payment Services Act, European MiCA, and US frameworks) to support the firm's cross-border expansion.
Commercial Contract Support: Assist in reviewing and drafting fundamental corporate and commercial documentation, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Provider Contracts, and vendor agreements.
MAS Regulatory Compliance: Support the compliance team in preparing mandatory regulatory filings, tracking compliance checklists, and maintaining corporate secretarial registers.
Institutional Onboarding: Assist in reviewing KYC/AML (Anti-Money Laundering) documentation and corporate structures for institutional counterparties, funds, and token foundations.
Internal Advisory: Help synthesize complex legal provisions into actionable, scannable compliance guides for our engineering and quantitative trading desks.
Requirements:
Academic Background: Currently in the final year of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) program from a recognized university, or a recent law graduate.
Professional Track: Preparing for, currently sitting for, or recently completed the Singapore Bar Examinations (Part B).
Core Competencies: Strong legal drafting skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to interpret fast-changing regulatory guidelines.
Web3 Literacy: A keen interest in digital assets, blockchain market structures, and the intersection of technology and capital markets.
Professional Integrity: A high degree of maturity and discretion, with the proven ability to handle sensitive, proprietary, and confidential corporate data.
