Market making is essential to emerging digital assets because, without a liquid trading environment, market participants cannot buy or sell tokens without causing a drastic change in the market price. This phenomenon is known as "market slippage." AcheronTrading's services directly reduce market slippage and thus result in more efficient trade for market participants.

We have integrated with over fifty decentralized and centralized exchanges providing holistic coverage across the digital asset ecosystem. Receive data-backed insights to determine which venues are the right fit for your goals.

Emerging digital assets can be hyper-volatile during price discovery. We consult teams in designing and selecting the appropriate liquidity strategy to develop a liquid market while managing the inventory risk for their digital assets throughout their adoption cycle.

What You Will Be Doing
Regulatory Directorship (AFM): Assume the formal role of Director and be responsible for all regulatory matters. Ensure the firm operates in full compliance with all AFM regulations and maintains a transparent and proactive relationship with the regulators.
Front facing: Representing Acheron across various conferences and panels throughout the region.
Strategic Leadership & Company Growth: Develop and execute the strategic plan for Acheron in Europe, driving business growth, market penetration, and profitability.
Business Development & Sales: Leverage your network and sales acumen to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and client relationships to fuel our growth.
Skills and Experience
Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role (CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or similar) with P&L responsibility.
Regulatory Experience: Experience dealing with financial regulators. Direct experience and an existing positive track record with the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) is a significant advantage. Must meet the AFM's fitness and propriety (geschiktheid en betrouwbaarheid) requirements for a director role.
Sales & Business Development Acumen: A strong background in sales, business development, or commercial leadership is essential. You should have a history of successfully driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships.
Industry Knowledge: Strong experience within the digital assets industry is mandatory and market making is highly desirable.
Language: Fluency in English and Dutch is required. Multilingual proficiency in German, French and/or Italian is a plus.
Location: Must be based in Netherlands at the time of application
