Market making is essential to emerging digital assets because, without a liquid trading environment, market participants cannot buy or sell tokens without causing a drastic change in the market price. This phenomenon is known as "market slippage." AcheronTrading's services directly reduce market slippage and thus result in more efficient trade for market participants.

Exchange advisory and planning

We have integrated with over fifty decentralized and centralized exchanges providing holistic coverage across the digital asset ecosystem. Receive data-backed insights to determine which venues are the right fit for your goals.

Risk management and modeling

Emerging digital assets can be hyper-volatile during price discovery. We consult teams in designing and selecting the appropriate liquidity strategy to develop a liquid market while managing the inventory risk for their digital assets throughout their adoption cycle.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Business Development Associate, you will be at the cutting edge of Acheron’s growth. You are the first point of contact for potential partners and a crucial player in building our sales pipeline. This role is perfect for a self-starter who is deeply curious about the crypto industry, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to build a career in sales and business development. You will work directly with the Head of Sales to identify, nurture, engage/prospect and qualify new business opportunities with soon to list crypto projects, token issuers, exchanges, and other key players in the Web3 space. This role will come with a clear progression plan from BDA to Account Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and research potential clients (token projects, foundations, and exchanges) through various channels, including industry databases (e.g., CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap), social media (X/Twitter, LinkedIn), and community platforms (Telegram, Discord).

  • Contact Build-Out: Deep research into target accounts set by both the Head of Sales and your own research in an effort to identify and find the contact details of key decision makers within targets.

  • Outreach & Qualification: Initiate contact with potential partners through targeted email campaigns, social media engagement, and other forms of outreach. Conduct initial qualification calls to understand their needs and determine if they are a good fit for Acheron's market-making services.

  • CRM Management: Meticulously manage and update our CRM system to ensure all leads, interactions, and follow-ups are accurately tracked, maintaining a clean and effective sales pipeline.

  • Support the Sales Cycle: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for senior Business Development Managers. Assist in preparing materials, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay on top of the latest trends in the crypto market, including new token launches, DeFi protocols, and market structure developments. Provide the team with valuable insights to refine our outreach strategy.

  • Relationship Building: Nurture early-stage relationships, representing Acheron’s commitment to transparency and institutional excellence in every interaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Required:

  • A genuine and demonstrable passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • A "hunter" mentality: self-motivated, organized, and relentless in pursuing new opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with data management.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • 6+ months of experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role, preferably within a tech, SaaS, fintech, or financial services company.

  • Experience using market data tools and platforms.

  • Active participation in the crypto community (e.g., X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord).

  • Fluency in other languages is a plus.
